ktm 690 Duke

The original DUKE was revolutionary when it was released two decades ago. As KTM’s first single-cylinder street bike, it quickly grew into a cult classic, adding extreme fun to a raw and radical concept. Today’s KTM 690 DUKE is the closest rendition to the original DUKE, but with modern styling, refinements and enhancements. The world’s most powerful single-cylinder production motorcycle stands at the leading edge once more. Long live the DUKE!

Engine & Exhaust

If ever there was a Hall of Fame for motors, this torquey 54 kW (73 hp), 690 cc single cylinder, LC4 lump would have its own floor – not only to house all of its accolades, but to accommodate all of its fans too. That’s not to say the engine in the 690 DUKE is a relic. It’s a modern day, sophisticated machine that has enjoyed almost instant acclaim that is sure to live on for years to come. A restricted power version, A2 is available to give beginner riders the full READY TO RACE experience.

All the power in the world is worthless if it can’t be properly harnessed. The famous upright DUKE stance lets you throw your weight around with reckless abandon, while a lightweight, refined tubular trellis awards riders with agile handling. All this also means improved mass-centralization which aids in keeping things planted on tight and twisty roads. High-end suspension, wheels and brakes complete the package.

Ergonomics & Comfort

Despite its unrivalled ability to carve up mountain roads, the KTM 690 DUKE also boasts a host of other real-world capabilities. Whether charging one-up or with a passenger, it offers versatility and ease of use. The relaxed seating position with freedom of movement allows riders to do everything from commuting to work, to taking the long way home – keeping you grinning from the moment you prod the starter button.

Bodywork & Graphics

If the LED indicators, high-quality finishing and unarguable READY TO RACE genes didn’t already convey the message, the intense orange rims, together with a striking color scheme and graphics, ensure the 690 DUKE stands out from the crowd.

Software & Electronics

You wouldn’t expect to find a slew ofsophisticated electronics on a single. Not so with the KTM 690 DUKE. As a force to be reckoned with, the only thing more impressive than its racy looks and flat-out performance is the technology that keeps it racing ahead.

Accessories & Luggage

All KTM PowerParts are developed alongside their chosen machine, meaning riders get parts which fit perfectly and complement their ride, straight from the dealer. READY TO RACE in every detail.
